Output sharpening - when to??

I have come to the point where I am ready to resize a folder of images for printing, and I came upon a stumbling block when it comes to output sharpening. I am not sure exactly when to apply the output sharpening. Here is my current output workflow:

Resize image
Flatten image
Convert to profile (usually printing at Costco)
Soft-proof and make any necessary color or tonal adjustments
Save file

My question is where do I insert output sharpening in my workflow? I was thinking that I should do it after I have converted the image to the necessary profile, but I am not one hundred percent sure about that.

I am new to photokit sharpener, but so far I absolutely love it.
