Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has received a virus warning from their anti-virus software when they are downloading the Photokit123_Installer.zip file for Windows. I am running the Avast! anit-virus software On-Access Scanner and it told me that the file had the Win32: Trojan-gen. {VC}. Could this be a false positive, or can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks,
John Michaels

John,

I recently downloaded all PixelGenius installers on two different computers with two virusscanners (Trendmicro & NOD32) and everything was normal - no indication of a virus alert. After that I installed the products and checked again both systems with a complete system scan. No problem at all. It seems as if your virus protection gives false positive alarms.

Yes, this is a false positive being reported by Avast!. I assure you there is NO Win32:Trojan-gen {VC} virus present in our products or installers.

Avast! has been notified of this and we are hoping corrections to their database are published quickly.
