I am scanning medium format and large format chromes between 2000 and 4000 dpi which makes for some very large image files.
When I choose 4x5 positive under capture sharpener, the result is almost imperceptable. I tried boosting the opacity and duplicatint the adjustment layers but the results are just not what I am looking for.
Lower res scans seem to have a much more pronounce and desireable result. I was under the impression the PKS looks out to the image resolution and adjusts to that. Is there another technique I am overlooking that will sharpen my very hi res images better?
