creative sharpen default brush

Hello..I have asked this before but am compelled to revisit (I can not find the old thread) my original question.

Why is it that the default brush for creative sharpening opens to 300?

I believe Bruce said this was simply the way things were but this is the only mode that defaults to 300.

So, perhaps this can be explained in a bit more detail?

On my copy, all the brushes are set to 300px?sharpening and smoothing. We don't hand you brushes in any other modes.

It's an arbitrary value. Photoshop demands some initial value?it would be nice if it lets us just hand you the brush at whatever size you'd left it at, but that's not possible without a lot of heavy engineering.

Hi Bruce...ok, is fixed at 300.

I think I was mistakenly relating the last used size in PS versus PKS.

Has been imprinted now...thanks.
