Folks,
We have several reports from users that sometimes, the CC and/or CT PhotoKit Color Sets go missing. Meaing you go to select the set, and it's not there!
We had an issue earlier in development but thought we had this fixed and our beta testers didn't report this. So far, we've been unable to reproduce this until today when I was jammin' to get some images processed and off to a magazine.
So, we know it can happen-now we're gonna try to figure out what's causing it and how to fix it.
If you experience this problem, it would be useful to know what version of Photoshop you are using and what your OS & version is.
I'm going to make this thread sticky but you can post to it.

I have a Mac G4 OS10.3.5 and Photoshop CS.
mac OS 10.3.6 photoshop CS used cc correction on a test print and went to adsd it to my final files and the CC correction choice had vanished!!
and I liked the correction too!
what's with that?

after rebooting PS CS I got the CC + CT options back and they work OK

We're working on it...
(It's not something we want to happen—it is, in fact, a bug.)
We hope to squash it soon. The fact that it only seems to happen with Adobe RGB gives us a good idea where the problem lies.

Hi Jeff,
This issue seems to happen only when dealing with 8 bit images. And perhaps only after a 16 bit has been reduced to 8 bit. I've encountered this pretty often and saw it before the release (but only just...and while we were having growing pains with this forum<G>).

Jeff, I've just verified the 8 bit theory. Moving in the history back into 16 bit restores the CC & CT actions.

Yet another reason to do ALL corrections in 16bit. Jeff probably designed this bug on purpose.

We have uploaded an update to PhotoKit Color that fixes the issue of disappearing CC & CT Sets.
The update, which available at the PhotoKit Color Info Page (http://pixelgenius.com/color/info.html) is suggested for all users of PhotoKit Color.
Thanks for helping us find and fix this bug!
