Working in Windows XP Pro. AOL internet connection
I installed PK color demo and all went fine but the user guide installed with the AOL icon and I can't print it out except a page at a time. How can I get a pdf version no matter what AOL wants to do.

The User Guide is accessible from the Help button in the PhotoKit Color dialog and is also accessible online at http://www.pixelgenius.com/color/pkc_help/index.html
But it is preferable to use the Help button, since this means that you are working off of the installed manual on your hard disk and there are no download speed issues.
I intended the manual to be designed as an HTML document as this will be the standard format now for PhotoKit products. but it was also done since a lot of the User Guide design relies on the use of rollovers to provide a lot of interactive elements into the User Guide.

Martin, thanks. I started playing with it and realized that it is interactive. I gotta adjust....I've always been one of those people who like to sit down at the desk with a highlighter and pen and read and mark up text to transfer the into into the brain.
Looking forward to trying the demo on some problem images this week.

Billie,
We don't suggest using a marker on your monitor screen, but we have found the HTML version of the manuals far more usable. It's doubtful we'll ever go back to PDF's.

The user guide is well done, clear structured and really helpful to get rolling! Ok, it's not printable, but I think most of us can live without a printable pdf document.

Thumbs up for the HTML version, although I never was a " text highlighter" in the old days. The rollovers make the program easy to understand and use. I intend to open the manual and use the sample images next to an open image in PS that needs correction until the settings and values are second hand. Also the program offers a range of adjustments from very useful corrections to more experimental. Thanks

The html concept for the new User's Guide and the use of roll-overs is not only interactive, but provides much information with a minimum of words. I am a visually oriented person so this truly does hit the spot.
