I'm not part of the beta team but I am a PixelGenius customer and an upset IR member. I was wondering when PhotoKit Color will be available and just what exactly it does? Thanks.

I'm not a beta tester either (though I would like to be, hint, hint...) but you can find all about PhotoKit Color here: http://pixelgenius.com/color/

There's lots of examples and documentation to tell you all about it, along with nice examples. I'm an upset IR, member, too. But it sure is nice being around here to have Bruce, Jeff and Martin to answer questions.

When we invited former IR member into the PG Forums betam it was with the understanding that we were already doing beta of an unannounced (as of yet) product in the forums.

From the IR member invite:
"You'll note a Forum called PhotoKit Color-that's a discussion forum for a new product in beta. We're pretty far down the road and don't need additional testers at this time, but consider yourself under an informal NDA regarding PhotoKit Color and we'll offer you all a discount coupon when we ship in a couple of weeks."

So, consider yourself under an informal NDA regarding PhotoKit Color, and yes, you CAN see what it's gonna be by browsing the product page and user guide. We've sent out preliminary press releases to a few press contacts that we have a relationship with so we wanted to keep the PhotoKit Color Product Page accessible.

And yes, you guys _WILL_ get a discount good toward PhotoKit Color when we ship-hopefully in a week or so. . .

Hi Jeff:

Oh, I have been ever so quiet about PhotoKit Color. My lips are NDA sealed - very tightly!

Hi Jeff:

Oh, I have been ever so quiet about PhotoKit Color. My lips are NDA sealed - very tightly!

Mine, too....

I read the note from [the site that shall remain nameless] that the PixelGenius(es) didn't need more beta testers at this time, but Photokit color looked so exciting that I thought it didn't hurt to drop a hint. The fact it will be out very shortly is very exciting, though! And I am impressed with all the documentation that is already in the PhotoKit Color area, as well as examples.
