creative sharpening default brush size

Hello all...when using the creative sharpener CS defaults to a 300 px size brush.

Is there any way to reduce that size?

Photoshop doesn't let us set the brush size for you (we wish it did). The Creative Sharpener defaults to the last brush size used.

Hi Bruce...this is not the case for me. I have never used a 300 px brush. This default only appears when I use the creative sharpeners. Never in any other instance.

In other brush use episodes there is a default to last used, but not in this instance.

You're right—I was confusing how I wanted it to work with what i wound up getting to work.

The only workaround that occurs to me is to record an action that sets the brush size to the size you want (it's a simple one—make sure that the brush is already selected with your preferred opacity and normal blending, then create a new action, then open the brush size control from the options bar and, to be safe, type in the size you want rather than setting it with the slider, press Enter to dismiss the control, then stop recording the action).

Then you can make an action that calls the Creative Sharpener, and then plays the action you just created...

Well, good to know was not peculiar to me! :)
