Hello,

I'm going to upload some photos to digi-labs for a calendar. They told me that they want me to send the photos in the srgb color space rather than cmyk or rgb and that the calendar will be printed on card stock by an hp Indigo press.

I haven't a clue about which output sharpener I should use. Can you help me?

Thanks very much, pat w

You will need to find out the output LPI (lines per inch). The odds are it'll be either 133 or 150 lpi, but you need to know for sure. You also need to determine the media; matte (uncoated) of glossy. Then size the images for the correct ppi (generally 2x the lpi) and select the correct halftone output sharpener based upon the files ppi and media.

Pat,
for the sRGB conversion you do it in Photoshop by choosing Image>Mode>Convert to profile... and in the dialog you select sRGB in the destination Space.
