Problem with creative sharpening

Hi,

A strange thing is happening when I try to use the Sharpening effect in the creative mode.

I can't use the brush tool and get an error message: Could not use the brush tool because thepixels in a layer set cannot be edited without merging the set.

I got the same message on tif files without manipulation (only background layer) or any other file with ajustments. That never happended before.

I use Photoshop CS with the latest version of Photokit sharpener. Others functions work great!
