Hey Pixel...just used the coupon email to upgrade and got a ser. # that PKC 2.0 will not recgonize. This is the # provided via the web versus email. What might I be doing wrong?

Same here. A paste will not work and I've tried all the zero/letter "o" combinations.

i doubt you're doing anything wrong. i'm also encountering the same problem.

Error: Please enter the serial number EXACTLY as it appears on your licensing e-mail or letter.

Just purchased the final of this program and can't get the application to accept the serial number I received in the purchase email. I did both a copy and paste of the serial number and also did a manual entry, but it won't accept the number. I was able to work on the beta version without any problems during the install process.

yes, I have the same annoying problem, serial will not work.

I feel fortunate. Installed mine and registered without a hitch. I did use cut/paste to install the serial number from the webpage receipt.

Now, what "new installer?" I still have heard nothing from Pixel.

For some reason, Mac users were finding there was a problem with the serial numbers entered not being recognised in the release version of PhotoKit Color 2. This obviously had to be fixed quickly, otherwise you could only use the plug-in in demo mode. So if you go now to the PhotoKit Color 2 product page: http://www.pixelgenius.com/color2/index.html you will see the following message:

MAC USERS: We have identified and fixed the issue relating to Mac serial numbers. Please click TRY to redownload the new 'pkcolor_201_installer.dmg' and rerun the installer. This will allow you to use your current PhotoKit Color 2.0 serial numbers without an error. PixelGenius is sorry for any inconvenience this has caused our users.

So click on the Try button (not the Buy button) to download the latest 2.01 update and reinstall. When you run PhotoKit Color 2 for the first time, then click on the Purchase button, and enter the new version 2.0 serial number when prompted.

Sorry again for any inconvenience this has caused.

Quick correction:

I meant to say: Click on the "Enter Serial" button when you first run the new download.
