The release of a PhotoKit Color 2.0 update was delayed last year. but the good news is that we are back on track now and working on the final beta testing as I write. There should be an update shipping very soon.

If you go to the main Pixel Genius home page you will see a link regarding upgrade information where it says:

PhotoKit Color 2 is a full version upgrade to PhotoKit Color. PhotoKit Color 2.0 contains entirely new effects as well as significant new functionality with the new PixelGenius Toolbox, effect previews, batching, and the option to return multiple effects in a single merged layer.

If you purchased PhotoKit Color 1.x after the version 2.0 announcement, you are entitled to a free upgrade to PhotoKit Color 2.0. The official announcement of PhotoKit Color 2.0 was October 20, 2005.

If you purchased PhotoKit Color 1.x before October 20, 2005, you can upgrade to PhotoKit Color 2.0 for $29.98-a 70% discount from the retail price of $99.95.

PixelGenius is emailing the appropriate coupon to current registered PhotoKit Color 1.x users based upon your purchase date. If you have not received the coupon email, you can use the form below to request that the coupon email be sent to you. You should receive a response within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.

NOTE: The mail form will be coming the week of Monday, April 3rd.

So expect to receive an email later today confirming this.
