DxO Optics Pro does some good work with vignetting and distorsion optical correction. However, the software also includes a noise engine that claims to use camera specific profiles that will sense if e.g ISO1600 has been used, and reduce noise accordingly. Does anyone have experience of wether this does more good than harm? Especially when considering that PK Sharpener will be used later in the processing - might this cause PK Sharpener to do a less good job? Creating artifacts and so on?
